Popillion's

It all started over 20 years ago with our father Lenton Popillion. He was and still is a great cook who loved   working on different receipes. Growing up in the country and raising his own animals led him to making his own boudin and sausage. Later, he bought his own grocery stores and took the tradition of making these items with him into the businesses. Popillion's Grocery was located in Opelousas, Louisiana and also in Church Point, Louisiana.. We began selling boudin and smoked sausage which became a big hit with the customers. Our boudin and sausage have reached customers as far as Alaska and South Dakota. For the next 15 years our father made his famous batches of boudin and smoked sausages that were always crowd pleasers.  Now, his children have reopened and taken over the business to carry on the family tradition.
